As the main structure of the garden bridge over the burn is in place decided to return to the design of the balustrade. Building regulations for staircases etc. In the UK require the gaps to be not able to pass a 100mm/ 4in sphere so it was thought to try to comply ( the thinking is for a small child not to be able to stick its head through )
It's not a no 1 priority just now and it involves a lot of time and effort in making 50 balustrades but good to decide and plan.
A very rainy day collected the lawn mower but although the grass needs badly cutting it will need to dry out first.
