Pom-poms

The cherry tree around the corner is in full pom-pom mode, just a pity it feels more like midwinter than Spring just now.
An early kickoff at the football today and I headed along in trepidation after the Jambos’ recent terrible run of results and lack of goals. But we scored a good early goal and then another. And then another, and another. Could hardly believe it! The second half was a bit flatter but you can’t argue about a 6:1 win. Five more games left in the season, we’re sitting 4th but really want to finish 3rd. Here’s hoping today wasn’t a flash in the pan.
