JUNIOR PROM COURT

The Junior Prom is a big right of passage in the states and is held in most high schools in the Junior Year (11th grade).  In some schools, only Juniors attend the big dance. In our small school, all students and their guests are invited to attend.

The "royalty" are voted on by the junior class and these are their representatives who will reign over the evening's festivities. A King and Queen are chosen from among this group as voted on by the student body. They will be announced about midway through the formal dance.

Only one person knows , at this time, who will be chosen...the Class Advisor who counted the votes. I won't know until tomorrow at which time I will add an amendment identifying the chosen two.  Anyone wanna guess?

ADDENDUM:  Queen in red dress;  King behind her with red bow tie.

BTW....most of these students are also athletes. I shoot a lot photos of them during games and all I ever get to see them wearing is athletic gear.  To see them like this, especially the young ladies, I barely recognize them.  It's a caterpillar to butterfly transformation for sure.  What a treat.
