Brimstone

A day lost to rain yesterday.

Sweltering today! At least if you are out of the wind!

The butterflies were out in numbers: three different sorts of white, Peacocks, Tortoiseshells, Orange Tips and Brimstone.

It's still difficult to catch them when they settle, especially with a small dog who wants to know what you are so interested in.

I was also buzzed by a lapwing who thought I was too close to his nest!
