Fashionista

The shops are full of summer clothes adorned with polka dots. The sun came out this morning - I'll repeat that for those who thought they were hearing things - THE SUN CAME OUT THIS MORNING - AND STAYED OUT ALL DAY (up to now).

You could almost hear the garden sigh as every leaf and flower turned its face sunwards, soon followed by bees, butterflies - and this fashionably-dressed 7-spot ladybird. Its official name is the grand Coccinella septempunctata.
