What is this, spot the odd one out?!

Anyway, that was what was on the windows of the 'workspace' opposite Beermoth, where Dan and I met up with Hannah for a couple of drinks before we went across to The Everyman to meet the Minx.

On the way, we passed the Town Hall, which looks like it's had a visit from Christo and Jeanne-Claude. (See Extra.)

We were at The Everyman for a viewing of 'In The Court Of The Crimson King: King Crimson at 50', which was absolutely excellent, and I'd recommend it whether you like prog rock or not. As the trailer says:

"What began as a straightforward documentary about the cult rock band King Crimson as it turned 50, mutated into an exploration of time, death, family, and the transcendent power of music to change lives. But with jokes."

(The only significant omission was Toyah, and the Sunday lunch clips she and Fripp put on YouTube.)

And after that, Hannah wisely headed home, as she gets up at five-thirty, Monday to Saturday, to do an (intense) gym class at six a.m. (I am so impressed by this.)

The rest of us went next door to see my guitar teacher, Paulo, playing at The Blues Kitchen. As a confirmed Jazzer, Dan had been making some disparaging noises about the Blues, albeit tongue in cheek, but all the same it was a joy to see how much he enjoyed the gig, as well chatting to Paolo when he came over during the break between sets.
