Occupy Monsanto Perth

This was just a small section of the big crowd of people that took part in the Occupy Monsanto Protest Rally in Perth today.

We stumbled into it and its been reported in the local news that 1600 people turned out, a good figure for little old Perth.

Although I didn't know about this rally I was aware of the growing opposition to Monsanto's increasing worldwide strangle hold on farmers. Also the passionate debate about genetically modified food and its effects on humans, animals, insects and the environment!

This was a worldwide protest and people in many countries took to the streets to voice their concerns.
