Phase 3 of the tree removal.

The final phase took all day, as each phase has.  Noisy.  And there was some damage to a gate and garden wall when one of the chunks of trunk came down.  No one injured and things can be replaced and repaired, but a reminder of the dangers. 

Feels weird without the tree there, it's going to take some adjustment.  But glad to have this process over.  Spending the week with the limbless trunk wasn't good, felt cruel. 

Now we can think of a new tree and also other plantings.  I'll need to think of different plants for that balcony, too, going to be much hotter.
