Celebrating William Shakespeare - 1564 - 1616.

Shakespeare was born on this day April 23rd  in1564, so tradition says.  as the exact date is not known.  He died on April 23rd in 1616.  
He is known as England's greatest poet and playwright.  His work is known the world over, and his plays are performed regularly by professional and amateur companies.
