River of Flowers

Sunday: Two Types of Comfrey

We had lots of rain for many hours through last night and it was very welcome too, everything in the garden looking better already!

Blue comfrey: the subject of my first Blip eleven years ago and still a favourite of mine because it flowers so early providing food for the overwintering Bees

Pink comfrey - has only been here for 4 years and has spread incredibly from the little plants in a pot

Spent some time this morning finishing the sorting of seeds started yesterday, it was grey and overcast all morning so an indoor job was ideal.

Was watching the cockerel in my neighbour’s garden this afternoon and panicked when I saw it fly out of the garden landing in the middling of the road, needed to get him back into his garden before a speeding car came along - all was well and I enjoyed a tour of the vegetable garden too! Thank you x

My sister-in-law and nephew arrived here late evening, we girls had a nice chat about Covid and garden birds …
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
