Golden Carpet

Today the 8 walkers parked at the end of Stevenson's Road, and walked down stream for 4 k's.  We had our lunch overlooking the Clutha River (extra 1)  Setting out (extra 2), and Fungi among the Poplar leaves. We walked over 12K steps, or just over 8 k's.  It was a lovely sunny day, but a cold breeze came up after lunch.  We stopped for a welcome cuppa at a local cafe before heading for home.  Another wonderful day out in the 'Great Outdoors'.

Tomorrow is ANZAC day, so is a public holiday in Australia and New Zealand.  Not sure which service I will be going to.
