Shades of Autumn….

There is more water running in all sections of the Taylor River after recent rains. There was an unexpected sudden downpour around five o’clock this morning but it was short-lived. A cooler day but nevertheless bright sunshine. I picked field mushrooms as Maisie and I walked. With the mushrooms I picked the other day I had enough for a feed of them at lunchtime. Visitors this morning, Lynne and Russell delivered bags of kiln-dried pine cones to see me through the coming winter months.
