Stopped for a Sip

Noticed this Red-banded hairstreak availing herself of a tiny puddle of water on our walkway. It's been really dry here and the creatures are thankful for any moisture they can find. Our pond has been a big hit with everyone. This hairstreak is in its 'dark spring form'. She will lay her eggs on our local sumac, bayberry and wax myrtle shrubs. I took this shot from a position on my stomach. Being reminded that now a days it's easier to get down than to get up. Oh well.

"Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You."
