not just a number

competed in my first 10k race today in the name of Amnesty International. It was an incredible experience despite the scorching heat and I managed to finish in just under an hour (58.33). It has definitely given me a taste for these events and am eager to get training for another one. Perhaps the best news is that after a few months of injury to my knee, it held up fine for the whole race!

The post-race bacon sandwiches were immense also.
