Ironic?

This pillar box has a plaque commemorating Anthony Trollope who introduced pillar boxes to the UK and it also notes that the street was one of the first to have a pillar box. ( full details in Extra). Slightly ironic therefore to see that this one has been sealed so it can no longer be used!
