Mono Monday - MM483 - French Connection

I had to pop to town today, so had a look around for something French, which wasn't hard as Jersey still has lots of French connections. Most of our road names are in French, but a photo of a road sign isn't very inspiring is it? So I've chosen the statue of the large Crapaud, at Charing Cross in St Helier.

This entry from Wikipedia explains a bit more about the name if you're interested.
"The name Crapaud is used in the Channel Islands to describe a person from Jersey, the name meaning toad in the local Patois languages, including Jèrriais and Guernésiais. Toads live in Jersey but not on the other islands.
