Apple blossom

I was very 'assertive' with my pruning of our little patio apple tree last year. It had become a bit wild with long dangling branches which broke under the weight of apples. As a result last year - no blossom and no fruit. So I am delighted this year to have lots of blossom. Fingers crossed for some fruit later in the summer :) Certainly nectar for the bees when they are around - not many due to the weather!
