Etape Loch Ness

We were up at 4.45 and left the camp site to get D to the start for 6am.
I then spent most of the morning mooching about until the quick lads and lasses appeared around 9am. The winning time was 2.45 hrs for a 67 cycle around Loch Ness on closed roads with a significant climb out of Fort Augustus. David got round in 4.15 which he was well pleased with. I'll enter again for this next year and will try and not get injured 72 hours before the start like this year.
We spent most of the rest of the day eating, drinking and enjoying listening to Aberdeen beat Rangers for the first time in many years.
