Bluebell woods at Rutland Water

Yesterday's road signs had completely disappeared this morning, so I can only think that the party ended up with a mass arrest for drunk and disorderly behaviour.

Today we visited Rutland Water and enjoyed the fantastic display of bluebells in the woods. You might just make out Daisy the chocolate Labrador among the tall stems and long leaves. Don't know what she was sniffing out, but the air was rich with the scent of bluebells. Wonderful.

And today was a tad warmer, at least in the sunshine; still chilly in the shade. But it was warm enough to enjoy an ice-cream! Now off for a curry tonight with our daughter and her partner.
