EMF 10K Day

It was 10K Day today!

That meant the culmination of all the training I have been doing.

It was a scorcher of a day (I was hoping for cool, cloudy drizzle) but the atmosphere was great. Lagged a bit behind past Duddingston Loch but still managed within my 70 minute target time - 1hr 5min 24sec. I'll take that!

Had a celebratory brunch and pint in the Holyrood 9A afterwards and then basked in the sun (and my glory!) in Princes Street Gardens.

It's the boyfriend and some friends' half marathon tomorrow, so another early morning going to cheer them off at the start and see them cross the finish line.

Luckily I have a bank holiday Monday to catch up on sleep!
