Rapefield

I needed some eggs so took a short drive to the local egg farm.  A sad sign of the times when on getting there I found a lock on the door. Apparently they have always had some eggs stolen but it has got so bad that now that the 'hut' is locked and one has to phone for the combination to open the door and get the eggs.
The view over the Taw River towards this wind farm, the very first in our area, shows a rapeseed field in the sunlight. The water is out so you can see where the deeper bits of the river flow.
The houses in the front have been erected within the last couple of years and changed the view, and the water run off from the fields is just visible on the road.
We locals laughingly call these 'Devon highways' as they are just one car wide with a few passing paces. One has to be able to reverse in this county!
