Museum Courtyard

This is one of the old buildings round the courtyard of the Scottish Fisheries Museum in Anstruther. The couryard has been associated with fishing since the 14th century. The building in the photo was the site of a chapel dedicated to St Ayle in the 15th century. In about 1850, this was rebuilt as a storehouse but one of the original windows was retained - the one with the arches above it in the middle of the upper level. Thanks to BobsBlips for hosting.
