Close up

Well it’s been a bit of a day. It was the last day I will see Sheila, the store manager. She finishes on Friday but my shifts mean my next day will be Monday. Then J, my direct manager, told us he had handed in his notice. Isn’t it strange that some companies only seem to appreciate people when they realise they are going to lose them. J will be , like Sheila, a great loss to our team.
Not that this balances up the above but I did receive a letter confirming  my pay rise.
A visit by the Category Regional Manager meant a lot of moving of stock today so very limited blip opportunities.
