No loitering

Having said yesterday that Maputo has regular blue skies, today was much greyer. After work I did a long evening stroll, and I bumped into an old face whilst I was walking on Julius Nyerere Avenue opposite the Presidência da República (the Presidency). Around twenty seconds later of catching up on the pavement we were hollered at by both a guard and a government vehicle to move as standing where we were is forbidden. Jeez Louise, we weren’t gonna bomb the place.
