Wild cherry blossom

There was quite a frost last night and, sadly, it reduced the blooms of the newly opening rhododendron to a brown mush. It’s so disappointing as I look forward to this time of year in our garden with the rhododendrons and azaleas.  Hopefully, the frost is behind us for now and we will have a chance to enjoy the blossom still to come.
Thankfully, the blossom in the wild cherry trees is more hardy and still giving a beautifully delicate display.
