Tadpoles

Here on a lazy sunny evening walking the dog, we came across this very shallow pool in stream water gently flowing with a cluster of tadpoles. They look as if they were enjoying the warmth of this moment. Feeding on very small insects and meal worms, however, they are also known to eat each other.
