Tulips

It’s King’s Day in the Netherlands, our king has his birthday today and celebrates 10 years of reigning. King’s Day is a public holiday, he and his family will visit one or more cities where there will be a day full of parades, concerts, sports etc. It’s televised so everyone can see it. And in the whole country there are free markets where everybody can sell whatever they want to get rid of. And heaps of people wearing  something orange having a fun day out. We watched the festivities for the royal family in Rotterdam on my IPad :-) 

It’s rather wet outside here and I really had no idea what to use today for a natural abstract  for Abstract Thursday today but D gave me a lovely bunch of tulips and hyacinths yesterday and what could be more appropriate on this festive day for the house of Orange as an ICM trio of those tulips.
