Survived!

We were expecting tree surgeons today so I took a photo of the garden because I feared there would be damage, particularly to my lovely red tulips. I wanted a record of how it looked. However despite removing a lot of growth from the tops of the trees, they managed to clear it all away without harming anything! We had the trees shortened at the request of our near neighbour who said they blocked out the light in her living room.
Although it has been sunny today, it has been cold. I am pleased that the heating has just come on for the evening.
