Yarn bombing bollards

I went out measuring the bollards in town today. We ( crochet group) had a brilliant idea to do some toppers for the Plum Festival at the end of August, after seeing the WI post box topper I blipped recently.
I checked with the WI that no toes will be trodden on!
So today we tried using some lantern covers upside down, as a template - a perfect fit! We counted from Broad Street to Chapman Court - it’s about 60 bollards, so we’ll have our work cut out. We’ll do them in “plum”colours.
As C said two crazy old ladies look better than one mad one on her own so was happy to help me count!
