Fire eb

So I had one task to do today.... write a presentation for some talks I'm giving at a Conference.
At my desk early. 
Sketched out what I wanted to say. 
Opened PowerPoint. 
Thought "hmmm, some handouts would be good...."
Spent 4 hours making infographics. Another hour formatting and printing.
Then decided I should probably play with Missy a bit. 
Then do a whole load of minor household jobs. 
Then play with Missy some more. 
Hmmm. 

Now it's evening. No presentation. 

Turns out, much as I think I dislike them, I may actually need deadlines....
