Stepper Point

A reasonably sunny day today and a bit warmer. Our plan was to walk over the fields to Padstow, find a picnic lunch and go to Rock on the ferry to eat it.
We got to Padstow and found that the Padstow Brewing Company in the old Post Office building did a delicious crab sandwich to take away. Of course we had to have a quick beer whilst it was being prepared. Really good. We’ll go there again.
We got the ferry to Rock and sat on the beach to eat our lunch.
The photo is of Stepper Point at the entrance to the Camel Estuary. Seen from the cliff path on the way to Daymer Bay. We  had a look round St Enodoc’s church (where Sir John Betjeman is buried). Extra.
We walked back to Rock,  had tea and coffee then the ferry back and the walk back to Trevone. About 7 or 8 miles of walking. Going to go and get Fish and Chips later.
