Flotsam

By Flotsam

Today we said goodbye to Sweet PP/ Cheeky Pete ( know on blip as P3dro)at The Unitarian Church in Liverpool. Today would also have been his 15th Blip anniversary, posting daily. He introduced myself and others to blip, and he taught me to use a camera, possibly the most beautiful gift I have ever received.

He ws a supporter and encourager of many artists, lawyers and friends.  He was the first patron of the Liverpool Biennial,  something he was grateful to be in a position to do. He was the person that so many of us turned to when we needed sound advice, and he gave it gladly.

He was kind, clever, gentle, fair and strong in equal measure. He was a punk and a barrister, it ws suggested today that his friends in the mosh pits, where he could be found with his camera at gigs several times a week, might not have been able to imagine him at his day job..and vice versa.

PP, you touched so many lives. You were a good man. We will all miss you terribly. Sleep well. xx
