A view from St Swithin

Seaton Park

I took my parents to a funeral of a friend this morning It was a small funeral “ when you reach 91 most of your pals are dead “ my dad remarked philosophically. He also didn’t like the lack of music and singing though the celebrant told some good stories. However they both enjoyed an excellent funeral tea.

I was on dog walking duty this afternoon. As in most park various benches bear the name of a person or couple who loved this particular spot or area. I suspect my dad might have a grumble about this as well although I do like this bench painted in rainbow colours.
