At last

Lovely castle breakfast, chatting about the Duke’s role in next weekend’s coronation and attending the move of the Stone of Scone to London, then said goodbye to everyone and borrowed Scott’s office to zoom in to a finance meeting with SO. When that finished I drove home through the rolling hills and managed to find my first lambs in a place where I could stop the car.
On the journey I had phone calls with P’s GP pharmacist and the one from the hospital, and found out he’s settled on the ward. No real news yet other than that he’s dehydrated and still very low oxygen saturation but is comfortable. Hopefully they’ll do a full review of what he needs since he’s not been seen by a medic for some months.
Home and took Paisley down to the garden for a good sniff around then gave her some lunch (she seems to be putting some weight on but very very slowly and still looks very skinny),. She and I then had a bit of a cheeky snooze on the sofa together.
Nipped out later to meet CC and LMc who’d been interviewing together all day. We had a drink and a lovely chat for a couple of hours then home to see A before she dashed out to meet friends for birthday drinks for someone at work. Called the hospital and got an update about P, then chatted to Mt about P and their current diet and exercise plans.
Had a quiet evening then bed just as A got home
