Sgwarnog: In the Field

Boulders

I find the large gritstone boulders on Baildon Bank to be very photogenic. This one has a gentle slope to encourage clambering but I didn’t have any small people with me today.

It proved to be a nice day than expected, with Small White, Small Tortoiseshell, Orange-tip and Peacock butterflies all on the wing as I walked down the hill to Salts FC.

I caught a couple of games at Salts. The Thirds lost 3-2 to Rolls Reserves in the semi final of the Craven District League Cup and then Salts Firsts beat Sherburn White Rose 7-1 in a bottom of the table WYAFL Division 2 game.
