Bluebell Woods

One of my favourite places in the country. At this time of year, a carpet of bluebells covers the floor of the forest, near Knockvicar in Co. Roscommon. It wasn’t a good day today - very heavy showers - but we managed to get in a decent walk to savour the special beauty of this place. Got caught in one of those heavy showers tho but a cuppa in a nearby cafe soon sorted us out!
