Harwich Day 2

A walk around the pier to look at the Lightship and the RNLI Station and then boarded to foot ferry for a trip to Shotley and then Felixstowe.  We stayed on board, but had wonderful views of the estuary and the container vessels.

in the afternoon another wander and exploration of the town, including a visit to the Harwich Museum.  Harwich was the film location for the TV series Hi Di Hi, and there was an exhibition  of the great flood of 1953 with loss of life of people and pets.
