Dumbarton Rock

The rain was coming down in torrents this morning when we went back to the boat to do more jobs. We were so glad we weren't trying to make our way back from East Loch Tarbert in the fog and rain, there wasn't really even any wind for sailing. We had a sociable time with old friends on board for tea and Black Isle Berries gingerbread, which is the best gingerbread in the whole world..

As we drove back up the Clyde this evening the sun came out and the sky turned blue. This is an iPad image taken out of the open car window as we whizzed homewards on the M8. That's Dumbarton Rock on the other side of the river.
