MonoMonday: Tradition

Back in my mother's day, I think it was the tradition to do the washing on Mondays.
It certainly doesn't apply to me, any day when I have dirty clothes and time does, but it's the only thing I could think of for Philippa's (ApolloFly) challenge today.

Otherwise we went to Randolph's wake today. 
In a departure from tradition he requested no funeral but didn't go so far as denying his family and friends a few drinks and reminiscences.

Now my brother-in-law is here for dinner and the night before he heads off to Sydney tomorrow for another funeral
