An English scene

Backblip
I liked this view of the medieval farm house and the horses walking by. We had watched the one in the field getting excited as the horse and rider approached and it ran over and followed it along the fence.
We had decided to go to Deerton today as the weather looked better . The daffodils had mainly finished but the blossom was coming out. It’s a natural burial ground so lots of ‘wild’ areas but it is kept tidy and the grass pathways are cut. We gave my Dad’s plaque a coat of varnish and my Mum planted some more primroses. We put some more pine cones in the bug house.
We went on to Standard Quay in Faversham. We had not been before so was pleased to find customers can park for two hours for free. We wandered along looking at the interesting boats and shops. The area had bunting and lights and looked very pretty. We had a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows in The Secret garden cafe which Mum enjoyed as she had never had one before !
We met Paul at Bredgar Farm shop for lunch , he left to go back to work and we went on to Queensdown Warren for a walk. Still sunny but cool in the breeze. We found a log to sit on and admire the view.
We went through Stockbury on the way back and stopped to look round the church.
A good sunset ended the day :)
