Monday

May is my favourite month. All sorts happen in the garden but I think it's a little delayed this year. For example, the wisteria looks nowhere near ready to flower but has flowered by now in previous years. 

Clive took Hetty out on to the hill earlier whilst I gardened the front. I feel I have achieved. The day has become warm so I've now come in for a break (I'll probably snooze!)

This Acer looked very sorry for itself last summer so I took some branches off in the autumn.  It looks superb now.

We plan to watch "The Windsors" Coronation Special this evening having watched the end of Great Expectations yesterday.
