Sloping Kiln

This is a sloping kiln in Mashiko, Japan. The March 11, earthquake of 2011 destroyed many of the kilns and much of the pottery in town. Two years later, things seem back to normal. The Spring pottery festival was bustling with visitors and the hotels for the Fall festival are already full!
