Pennine Way #2

Today was the second half of the stretch I was accompanying Dad on; the final 24km from Windy Rig to Kirk Yetholm. We had great weather for the route along the top of the hills heading east. We opted not to to a detour to Cheviot and this was a good decision as the mist descended on us soon after than so we wouldn't have seen anything anyway.

We were heading down quickly here to get out the wind and into the refuge hut for lunch
