Tradition

Tradition is the challenge for MM this week.  I thought about it for a while and decided to do some local tradition.  The Skagit valley North of us is about a 35 minute drive and the farmers have fields upon fields of tulips that they sell and put on amazing displays of Tulips.  Depending on the weather, the tulip fields are open to the public from April through May or when the tulips are done blooming.  People go up in droves from all over to see the tulips and stand in the fields taking pictures!  It is very common to hear many different languages as you roam about.    You can buy tickets to get into about 3 or 4 different farms. Lots to do for the kids and adults.  Food to be bought and enjoyed.  You can order tulips or buy them right there.  We usually make a day of it and I usually have Joe stop a few places to take pictures of barns ( surprise!) along the way.
Thanks for stopping by and so appreciate the comments and any hearts and stars too!  Happy Monday everyone and thanks to Apollofly for hosting MM this month!!
