Sunset at lake Dannemeer

After work and dinner Peter and I went to Slochteren, to lake Dannemeer.
Expectations weren’t high because the weather forecasts only predicted heavy clouds, but we set our hopes on the occasional beams of last sunlight.

When we arrived all was gray, boring and windy, but during the actual sunset nice soft pastels appeared in the sky, over a milky setting sun.

Happy with the results we went home and treated ourselves to a (rather expensive) McChicken and a McKroket.
