Oak before Ash...

...we'll have a splash.

It's been a fairly busy day with one thing and another.

I did get out to Camps End and photograph my favourite oak tree which is coming into leaf well before the ash trees around here. Hopefully the old country saying will come true...

The oilseed rape behind looks pretty good unlike quite a lot of fields around here... flea beetle has ruined much of the crop. Farmers are not pleased with DEFRA.
