Skyline

After work, I drove to Hofheim, where I met my friend Ina at a country restaurant with the odd name “Viehweide” (pasture). It’s in a beautiful setting, right at the edge of the forest in a green valley, overlooking the city of Frankfurt with its skyline, and the surrounding Rhine Main Area.

Before going for a meal, we went for a long walk. First through fields, then around a golf course and some horse paddocks, and finally through forest. 

It was good to catch up with Ina. We once lived in the same street and spent a lot of time together. Now we see each other only occasionally, but it still feels very familiar to walk and chat with her.
