Snow in June

There will certainly be snow still on the top of Canigou in June. This is quite remarkable, as is the reopening of the ski slopes next weekend. We sat out in the garden of a friend's house after the monthly parish meal in the warm sunshine and the view was stunning, so that is some consolation for the late spring/summer. The food is always excellent on these occasions as everyone brings a contribution and it is often their signature dish. Today was no exception.
