Sid the squid

May day
Gavin's birthday, so presents first thing. After breakfast, Dennis and I took the boys down to the beach while Gavin and Emma packed up and loaded their car, then we swapped so we could sort out our stuff. It was a lovely morning, so we stayed on the beach, flying the kite for a while after we'd checked out of our cottage. Unfortunately, rain clouds soon gathered and we headed off, stopping at Aberdour on the way home. The rain had eased by then, so Arthur was able to play on the beach and then we had a picnic lunch in the sensory garden near the station.
They headed back to Glasgow and we headed back to Edinburgh. Sore throat developing - possibly allergy.
