Shield bug

A good day at work with leaf rubbing art work and the special swing as extras today. It didn't rain and was pretty mild. After work I went to the allotment and things are going well here.  The broad beans are up and the shallots/onions are making good progress. I picked our second  harvest of rhubarb.
This wee shield bug was on one of the allotment dandelions.  I have identified it as the Sloe or Hairy Shield bug which is not so common in Scotland it has stripy sides and antennae.
